Each year, the All About Romance website runs a Purple Prose Parody competition It began as a way of spoofing purple prose, but it has extended to keep the content fresh. In 2004 I won with a Regency spoof of Bridget Jones's Diary, called Miss Bridget Jane's Diary Click on the picture below to link
In 2003 I was a co-winner with a spoof of Jane Austen trying to sell Pride and Prejudice to one of today's publishers. I called the spoof "The Pitch"
